Renata Moise has lived lifelong in Hancock. She is best known for her vibrant oil paintings of nature, reflecting her home on the coast of Maine. Most of her work is painted outside, plein air. Finishing and contemplation is done in her rustic studio, which was once the studio of her father, the late artist William Moise.
