2024 Recap

Farmstead Artists would like to thank the community and every visitor who stopped by to help us celebrate the 2024 season of exhibiting and selling art.  We enjoyed meeting many new customers and seeing returning ones, some who came to nearly every show.

The owners of the lovely old Farmstead Barn, Judy Ashby and Ray Weintraub, have allowed us to occupy their barn for our art shows for three summers.  This year we were able to use an additional room in the barn that became our "little gallery".  We are extremely grateful to them for their continued generosity and support.

During 2024 the Farmstead Artists worked on improving our organization and communication. We have a new  application process for guest artists, soon to be on our website, and with the help of Julia Conway we added Sunday afternoon receptions for each weekend show. We also co-hosted a gallery talk by Carl Little entitled: Downeast Artists - in Memory of Philip Barter. (The presentation is posted here.)
